Moe's is awesome. They have a huge selection of books, they'll order anything they don't have and they're one of a handful of independent bookstores left in Berkeley. Downstairs is new books, and the other three levels are a bibliophile's used book paradise. Don't miss their great antiquarian book section on the top floor. Crazy old first edition copies of children's books and junk. Awesome.

This place is serious comfort food. The guys who work here are pretty much the sweetest people ever and their food is phenomenal. I highly recommend the burritos and tacos, but I'm sure their other food is kick ass, too. Oh and they gave me free food on my birthday one time. The best food in Burbank, hands down.

If you're a member of my family, you can pretty much assume that all your christmas and birthday gifts will come from here. I'm pretty sure it's the only place we regularly shop, besides Trader Joes. They have the coolest stuff ever. Where else are you going to find crocodile skulls, robots, pretty soaps and vintage porno books, all under one roof? It's pretty much the coolest shop in Los Angeles.
