Best whale watching spot

With ocean views to the North, East and South you can watch the whales coming up from Blacksmiths and they come in close to the headland and travel past with great photo opportunities.

Surfing

One of the best surfing beaches around Newcastle and home to the best whale watching platform anywhere. You can sit atop the cliff which faces south and watch the whales cruise by on their migration north. The locals are friendly, if you show respect and we often have dolphins in the line up too.
