Sweet Prices
5.0 Stars
In the words of the old guy behind me, "It's like going to a candy store for the first time all over again." As cheesy as that may sound, its the truth. This place has an insane selection of candy from all over the world. Maybe your stuck in NYC but crave the sweet blend of Snickers and Kit Kat that is "The Lion Bar" only found in the United Kingdom; this place has your fix, and about a hundred other kinds of candy you didn't know existed.

Sesame Seed Crust
5.0 Stars
If there is anything I can claim to be an authority on, its pizza. Although I can't give you an actual number as to how many slices I've consumed throughout my life, my ballpark guess would be 34,678. With that said, Rocket Joe's brings a unique flavor to their pies with the inclusion of sesame seeds on the crust. A small, but delicious addition to a crowd favorite. Add in cheap prices and late night hours, and this place can't be beat.

Mack On Some Cupcakes
5.0 Stars
I have a sweet tooth, and magnolia provides me with a syringe of sweet frosting escape. I love all the cupcakes here; red velvet, chocolate, vanilla, something else awesome maybe I don't even know about yet. But one of my favorite things they sell here is the Banana Pudding, its kind of like eating cake batter with bits of banana and nilla wafers peppered throughout. Grab a pint of pudding or a dozen cupcakes and catch a movie down the street while gorging yourself.

Nostalgia Covered Drinks
4.0 Stars
If you ever wanted to binge drink in a time capsule from a 1950's trailer park, this is the bar for you. The food is great and atmosphere is mesmerizing. It's also in a great location to catch a comedy show at the Magnet or the UCB before, or after enjoying a few 50's pale ales. The fact they have the facade of a trailer home inside of the lounge itself should solidify your decision in going.

Sit at the Bar, Down a Donut
5.0 Stars
A classic donut shop run mom and pop style in the west village. The donuts are amazing, the coffee is stupendous, and the cookies are to die for. Grab a seat at the "bar" and order up an affordable storm.
This place is open 24 hours a day, so anytime you get the urge to splurge, head own down and meet fellow donut addicts and prepare to bond over a love of cooked dough and sugar.

Media Appreciation
4.0 Stars
Imagine close to every television show ever made on a database awaiting your personal viewing. From old Late Night shows with David Letterman to the first season of Boy Meets World, whatever floats your boat, they have ready on call. On top of that, they always have great movies and documentaries playing in one of their many theaters.
The best part is this place frequently has open forums with directors, writers, actors, producers and anyone part of the production process. If your interested in media, check this place out.

Top Notch Comedy
5.0 Stars
A beacon in New York City of late night comedy, the Late Show is a must see for everyone in the city, and in the world. First of all, the tickets are free, sign up online or show up the day of the taping at 9am to receive your free pair. David Letterman is the most influential and well respected broadcaster of this generation, and the opportunity to witness his work in action should never be passed up.

Independent Movies in a great theatre
4.0 Stars
One of the best independent movie houses in the city. Continually showing independent features and documentaries, this is an impressive location to place on your "done it" list. Sometimes they show short films before the movie and starts, and there are always cult classics and foreign films to be seen on the marque. Best of all, there are no commercials on these big screens. Ticket prices, however, can be up there in the low teens for an adult stub.

All the Taxidermy and Meteorites You Need
5.0 Stars
This Museum is cavernous. It has everything from stuffed elephants to moon rocks to dinosaur bones. You could easily spend a day walking in it's culture filled halls and not see everything. I would recommend the dinosaur bones and the planetarium show, as they will shatter your universe.
The best part about this place is that it has a suggested admission price, meaning you pay whatever you feel necessary to get in. So for a dollar, you get the entire history of planet earth and a pretty impressive guide map. But bring food, the food court can be pricey.

Graffiti Art and Supply Shop
4.0 Stars
This small store is filled with all sorts of graffiti art and history, from model trains ready to be painted, to full size canvases hanging from the ceiling. Whether you are an appreciator of the art or want to tag something yourself, everything you need you can find here. The guys that run the place are also incredibly helpful should you need their expertise. Be sure to check out the custom skate decks before you leave.

Free Pizza with EVERY Beer
5.0 Stars
Purchasing a modestly priced beer at this lower east side local will earn you a ticket to redeem one of the Crocodile's famed oven baked personal pizzas, with the option of adding a topping of your choice if you shell out an extra buck. This underground (literally) bar is a hotspot for people of all ages looking to grab a few drinks and cheap (free), but delicious food. But careful, when this place gets crowded and you have to juggle an excruciatingly hot plate and a drink while standing and eating, only the brave at heart and drunk-hungry should attempt to master this impossible task.
Add in trivia every wednesday night and an arcade in the back featuring skee ball and swanky pillow covered nooks, and Crocodile Lounge is a force to be reckoned with.
