Way Cool Tattoos - Queen St. »

Located in the heart of Toronto's hip Queen West neighbourhood, Way Cool Tattoos is located at the (very) diverse intersection of Queen & Bathurst. It looks not average but stereotypically, like what you think a tattoo parlor would look like and if you're not from the city (or even if you are) you may not exactly feel 'safe' with the plethera of neighbourhood crackheads, crazies and rufian, due to the 1) shelter 2) punk mega bar 3) bath house, well you get the picture BUT don't fear, there ARE a tonne of great shopping spots and successful businesses in this area and during the day, it is perfectly cool to travel through here.
Back to Way Cool. There's a tonne of tat shops downtown and many great ones, personally I get all my ink done at this shop!
Above all, Way Cool Queen is a clean, sterile shop. All their artists claim to be multi faceted and after spending hours in there getting work done, I believe they are. There are really cheesy, typical tattoo design ideas all along the one main wall (hence the typical tat shop feel) and to me that's the shop's only down fall but if you look at each artists' work, it is mostly great!
Right now, Linsay is the new apprentice and she just did my latest piece. Great artist and I highly recommend her or any of the artists at Way Cool Queen!
