Time's Up!. Williamsburg.

Time’s Up is a fun-loving, freewheeling environmental group that relentlessly promotes cycling and other sustainable ways of life. They organize all sorts of bicycle rides like Bridges by Night and moonlight tours through Central Park and Prospect Park. On top of that, they have free bicycle repair classes five days a week split between ABC No Rio and their new space in Williamsburg.

I recently went to the opening celebratory barbecue at their place on South 6th Street and I had a blast. Rev. Billy invoked a blessing from the Bicycle Goddess, a marching band played, and the DJ took a request for INXS. You couldn’t have asked for a better evening.
