Shoreditch's temple to camp and kitsch »

From the outside, The George & Dragon resembles an old man pub, a typical East London dive bar. On entry, the crowds of plaid-shirted, skinny-jeaned hipsters seem to confirm your expectations... but then you notice the pictures on the walls, and wait... that's definitely not Cut Copy or White Lies playing... it's Madonna! Confused? Don't be. This is the place London's gay hipsters who need their fix of cheesey music and camp style head... as well as those who just want a different, funnier night out in Shoreditch. It is absolutely tiny, very hot and with massive toilet queues however.
