Tarquino's worth checking out because locals actually eat there and because it's the cutest place to eat in town. The restaurant's literally built around a tree, and the accompanying angled ceilings and wooden floors make you feel like you're inside something from "Wind in the Willows." They've got great local beer priced reasonably for Bariloche, but stay away from dessert and appetizers or you're going to end up paying way too much. One serving of their cordero (Patagonian lamb) is more than enough, and their regional dishes are surprisingly authentic and decently priced.
