Snow City Cafe has been awarded Best Breakfast by Anchorage Press five years in a row. Sometimes the corner cafe gets crowded, but that's not a bad sign. I was able get a booth for lunch and enjoyed the light and airy atmosphere that invited the heavenly aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting from the espresso bar. Order a hot cup of Kaladi and read the newspaper between munching on a melty panini. Or sip on an Odwalla Mimosa between housing an Uber Omelet. Prices are higher than an average diner might charge, but the quality is evident. They're open from 7 to 4.
