Huge and ornate »

It's impossible to miss this church when in Taxco, nor should you. It's free since it's a working church and the inside is gorgeous. It was funded by a Spanish silver baron (can one be a "silver baron?")and was built to rival the churches of Europe. It's full of praying old ladies, huge columns, LOTS of silver and creepy Jesus statues. Loved it.
