There's a bouncer, but no cover or ID check as you descend underground into a cave of a pub heavy with the sounds of drunken Czechs. Sit at the bar or find a table in the surrounding area, but your best bet is to reserve something early in the day if you want to guarantee a seat. Serves beer and inexpensive cocktails like the Beton - Becherovka and tonic (49kc). The cheapest drink, homemade Sangria, costs 39kc, buy three and the fourth is free.
Sometimes there are live bands, sometimes there are dance parties. Sometimes it's just a guy standing at the computer throwing on Michael Jackson after the Macarena after Eurotrash Techno music. Whatever the case, feel free to dance on the stage and sing along - the Czechs will be impressed that you know all the words!
