Bacon+Maple Syrup+Coffee=Genius »

3.0 Stars

Pirate Cat Radio Cafe is a small cafe situated in a low traffic area of the Mission. This cafe is a combination of a coffee shop, hangout and houses a local radio station. They're known for their bacon maple latte which is a very unique and genius combination. Who doesn't like bacon? I got a bacon maple soy latte, and the soy masks the bacon and maple flavor. If you want to taste the bacon, don't get soy. Also, there's a coconut latte that's pretty good because the coconut taste is subtle. There's only one barista and it takes a few minutes to make a latte, so you need to be patient.

After coffee, if you're feeling hungry, you can go across the street to get a tamale and flautas for less than $2.
