Harrisburg's Saving Grace »

5.0 Stars

The Midtown Scholar is the cultural hub of Harrisburg and Central Pennsylvania's largest seller of used books. Some of its inventory has been acquired from the Powell's (of Portland, OR) overstock. The building, once an old movie theater, hosts four floors of books, including a large children's section, rare and out of print editions, monthly art exhibits at the Yellow Wall gallery, a bakery, coffee bar, and ample space for live music and local meetings and events.
