I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! »

If it's ice cream with an edge, visit I-berry on Sunday afternoons. You'll know you're there when you are greeted by the giant Mao Tse-Tung statue saluting the 20 foot sunshine yellow half man/half dog statue that guards the entrance. Homemade flavors like banana and cheese (not as scary as it sounds) tamarind, and spicy green mango are sure to delight the taste buds of adventurous types, but for all you boring folk, they have vanilla bean and brownies too. Grab your Mickey Mouse table number and your ice cream will be brought to you by adorable Thai servers in matching fedoras and aprons. If you go at night sit outside next to the massive tree for a romantic evening under the glow of floating paper lanterns. If you can't bare the heat, enjoy the A/C inside and marvel at the ingenuity behind the wire chandeliers filled with multi-colored plastic mugs and funky local artwork. Next door is the I-berry shop which sells recycled journals, cryptic teddy bears, and eccentric neon knicknacks and tees. Am quite obsessed with this place at the moment and went kinda photo happy. Surprised they didn't ask me to leave. It's open late until 11pm. Hope you like it as much as I do. xox-Chloe
