Honest Ed's = overpriced tat »

1.0 Stars

Honest Ed's may have been the cheapest place in town once, but those days are long gone. If you are a newly arrived traveller actually looking to buy something small and basic, steer clear of the over-priced, poor quality goods and head for Dollarama or maybe Zellers. Honest Eds is central and has some bizarre cachet as a place for tourists to check out, but it does *not* make for good shopping.

like if vegas gave birth to a department store »

Everything is locked in time; I'm plenty of the merchandise has been there for decades.

Even if you're not in the mood to shop, it's worth checking out due to weirdness-factor. And hours later, once you've discovered the exit, you'll probably escape with the randomest cheap knicknacks that you never would have needed.
