If you ask anyone who lives in Bariloche where to get ice cream, they're going to say Jauja. The original shop is located an hour's drive south in El Bolson, but the best unique flavors from there make it to Bariloche, where you can get cinnamon ice cream or try local fruits and sheep's milk ice cream. I don't know what their secret is, but each variety I tried is somehow infused with the taste of its namesake and not too sugary, but still sweet. The cinnamon's spice and aftertaste will have you yearning for the day Jauja could open a shop in your hometown. A must-eat.
