phish got back together. »

i don't know how to review a coffeeshop because i don't remember anything about it. let me state that i am an amateur when it comes to dabbling with the green. but jesus fucking christ, i guess my friend thought i was some sort of fog marley impersonator. whatever i smoked had me in a chokehold. i guess that warrants five stars since i was staying around the corner and found myself unable to make the 15 step walk home for a few hours. if fear and an al capone-like paranoia are your idea of a good drug experience...or if you aren't a punani boy like me...then this place is for you. i was freaking out and there was a phish poster. the only happy place i could find was taking solace in the fact they'd broken up.

From Yellow Cabs to Blueberry Bubblegums. »

This is the only coffeeshop in Amsterdam that's American owned and operated! They're constantly rolling out new strains and blends, and I can't say I had a bad one. Yellow Cab, New York Sour Diesel, all are great, but it's their tasty bubblegums and blueberries that will have you freaking out. It is such a tiny shop that I'd say to get your stuff, gaze at the tons of famous people who have been photographed there (hint: you WILL find Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson on that wall), and then get the heck out. It's actually right across from the best chocolates in Amsterdam, for some serious one-stop shopping.
