Good eats, good views, good music »
“Fonda de la Calle Real” is a perfect lunch or dinner-spot a couple of blocks off the main Plaza in Antigua. Greeted by a full “marimba” band playing sweet songs to lure you in off the hot streets, you can either find a romantic spot upstairs to gaze at the distant volcano’s or sit street-side and people watch under some forgiving shelter from the sun. Fresh eats, sweet smiles, and a random picture of Bill Clinton at the restaurant adorn this little gem.
