I think this might be my new favorite coffee shop. It's very neighborhoody and by that I mean it's something you could call your "neighborhood coffee shop." The people who work there are really friendly and the people who drink there are really laid-back. It is definitely not soup-nazi-anxiety-inducing, nor do you need to put on your best flannel and tightest pants to be seen here.
They have daily specials, such as $1 off drip coffee on Tuesdays. The coffee is absolutely delicious to the point where you can tell they really care about the coffee they're slinging. The cappuccino is really smooth and the foam is velvety and amazing. They even have agave sticks for 25 cents so you can healthily sweeten your drink, if that's what you're into. They also have some nice vegan pastries, including delicious donuts and cookies. They don't even taste vegan! I can't say anything about those sandwiches except that they sure look amazing. And they have a lovely selection of gelato.
The outside is very nice, with a few tables with umbrellas. The one up in the corner is really great for watching your fellow coffee-drinkers and to get away from their loud chewing. There's also a pit of some sort but I don't know if it's for fire or for decoration or maybe it's a foot rest.
P.S. The door to the bathroom gets stuck sometimes and you have to give it a good pull or else stand awkwardly waiting for whoever is taking a long time in there (nobody).
