When I go to a farmer's market (which is about once every 5 years), I never really expect to be able to buy warm felafel wraps or gluten free/vegan cuisine or authentic pork schnitzel. Well, at the Boulder Farmer's Market, you can do just that. Of course, they also have TONS of fresh produce, but I spent my time grabbing samples of chocolate macaroons, brie, balsamic vinaigrettes, and African tamales. Live music and beer were also highlights, and if you walk about a block away to the river, you can watch people tubing. Way cool place to be.

The best food the region has to offer. Talented and conscientious purveyors provide heirloom varietals and perfect preserves to the eager masses at this Boulder weekend gathering spot. The home of the best people watching of the week. An equal mix of young, hip. and still hurting, and overtrained for the ultra-marathon so the hip is still hurting. Foodie fantastic with samples galore, award winning cheeses and fresh baked breads. Plan your evening fete or just stop by to have a gyro. The Wednesday evening market has a beer garden and live music, but the saturday market brings out the crazies. The 20-minute wait for peaches is justified.
