After a few years living in FLR, you try to find the restaurants which don't cater to tourists. This for the simple reason that the food will be better, since the locals would refuse to eat the bruschette/bistecce/prosciutto etc in some of the tourist-traps. This is the reason why I thought to post this restaurant on here. It's nice, outside the old gate on the other side of florence, and because it is rather difficult to find, it is really a place you have to know. Pricewise you'll have a good meal with antipasto, main, wine, etc. for about 20-25 euros. The main reason to go there is that they do tuscan food well: freshness, and pure tastes of local meats and fresh produce.
