but that's a good thing. far from other tourists, you def get the local vibe here.
if the homeless can wander up this north, you know you're in good company.
kinda reminds you that 'normal' is a relative term, eh?

Blind Lady Alehouse brings much promise to the neighborhood of Normal Heights. Currently littered with frat boy watering holes, Blind Lady brings a touch of refinement to this section of Adams Avenue with its wooden decor, vintage beer billboard, and open atmosphere. In the same vein as Hamilton's and Toronado, Blind Lady offers a long list of drafts--but the ale-averse beware! Nary a lager or stout will you find on their menu (it IS called an alehouse, afterall). I have yet to try any of their pizzas, but the aroma of bacon was enough to convince me that they're good. The ambience is also very inviting. Plenty of large wooden tables for bigger parties, tall bar tables for intimate get togethers, and just-the-right-volume of music are conducive to friendly conversations. I was thoroughly impressed!
